Heston, West London · Homeowner and trade projectsStone fabrication from our Heston workshop
We offer supply-only stone fabrication as well as templating, fabrication and fitting for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial spaces. From our Heston, West London workshop, we plan the surface around the room: the chosen material, its pattern, the openings and edges. Tell us which service you need so we can agree the scope.

A surface made around the details
Worktop runs, islands, waterfall ends, upstands and splashbacks need a coordinated cutting plan. We review the chosen slab, the pattern direction and proposed joints alongside sink and hob openings, tap holes and exposed edges.
Share the exact sink and hob models, the edge you prefer and any drainer grooves or shaped details. Availability and fabrication requirements depend on the particular surface, thickness and finish; we confirm the specification for your project before work begins.
Choose the material before finalising the design
Compare quartz, granite, marble, porcelain and Dekton, an ultra-compact surface by Cosentino. The choice affects appearance, care, edge treatment and support. A colour name or photograph alone does not confirm the complete slab specification.
Use our catalogue to build a shortlist, then discuss the actual material, finish, slab dimensions and availability. Our material guides explain the practical differences.
For Dekton, compare the selected design’s finish, slab format and thickness with the application. The 8, 12, 20 and 30 mm worktop range varies by design; 4 mm is cladding-only. Review Dekton specifications and applications, then send any specialist requirements for a written quote.
From your drawing to the fitted surface
1. Send the starting information
Send your drawing or rough worktop-section dimensions, material preferences and the details you want included. Include sink and hob models where available, and tell us about access to the room.
2. Agree the specification
We discuss the surfaces, openings, edges, splashbacks and other details needed for a written quote. An online estimate or photograph helps with planning; it does not replace the final site template.
3. Template and plan the cuts
For templating-and-fitting projects, site templating confirms the dimensions once the relevant cabinetry is ready. For supply-only fabrication, we agree who provides and confirms the final cutting dimensions. The selected slab, proposed joints and pattern direction are considered together.
4. Fabricate and arrange handover
The agreed pieces are cut and finished. For supply-and-fit work, we arrange installation; for supply-only work, collection or delivery is agreed for the project. Timing depends on the material, supplier availability and the agreed scope.
For builders and kitchen makers
If you are arranging the wider fit-out, send the current drawing revision, worktop sections and material preference. Tell us which details remain undecided, who is supplying the sink and hob, and when the joinery is expected to be ready.
We can provide supply-only fabrication or a supply-and-fit service. Tell us which scope you need and who is responsible for the final measurements and installation. Access, appliance information, splashback dimensions and drawing revisions should be discussed before fabrication. Collection or delivery arrangements for supply-only pieces are confirmed for each project.

Planning your fabrication enquiry
What should I send for a written quote?
Send a drawing or rough section dimensions, preferred surface, sink and hob details, edge preference, and the splashbacks, upstands or waterfall ends you want. Note any important access restrictions. You can email plans to studio@nobilestone.co.uk.
Can you fabricate stone for supply only?
Yes. We offer supply-only fabrication as well as supply and fitting. Send the drawings and required surface specification, and tell us which service you need. We will agree the responsibilities, final measurements and any collection or delivery arrangements for your project.
Do rough measurements replace templating?
No. They help start the quote and layout discussion. For templating-and-fitting work, site templating confirms the final measurements. For supply-only fabrication, we agree the final dimensions and responsibilities before cutting.
What affects the finished worktop price?
The surface specification, amount of material, cutting layout, openings, edge details, splashbacks and fitting requirements affect the quote. We confirm the agreed scope in writing.
How are the fitting date and service area confirmed?
Tell us the project location and expected site-readiness date when you enquire. We will discuss practical access, material availability and scheduling before confirming the work.
